Shanghai - Strategy Consultant (with Chemicals background)

Job description:

The position will be based in our Shanghai office. You will help analyze and develop solutions in contact with your customers and make it possible to bring them lasting results. Specifically, you will:

·    Execute market research and consulting projects, as well as independent project execution

·    Conduct primary and secondary research, data validation, data modeling, data analysis and PowerPoint report writing

·    Organize and conduct interviews with industry insiders and experts and take excellent notes through interviews

·    Client interface communication on project review, phone/face-to-face discussion and final presentation

Required skills:

1-3 years of management consulting/corporate experience in a reputed company with chemicals or related materials. Rigor, along with an ability to analyze and synthesize data as well as work as a team (with others consultants but also customers) are all key qualities to be successful. Required qualifications include:

·    Expertise in key industries, notably chemical industrials

·    Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills

·    University degree from a reputable school with excellent academic results in the fields of finance, economics, business administration and other related majors

·    Confident and open-minded

·    Excellent entrepreneurship and team work spirit, and strong motivation

·    Strong business sense, analytical and presentation skills, as well as clear logic thinking

·    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members as well as clients

Other qualifications:

·    Degree from a top-tier university with engineering majors

·    Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must
